Japnese VS Chinese

People say, chinese people must know how to read and write chinese...
But for me, I don't know am I really a chinese...
I can read chinese (partial) and I can speak chinese... But I cannot write chinese!
ARrgh!! This semester I took Japanese language as my foreign language subject...
I can write and memorize well all Hiragana and Kataganan...
But I can't do the same for Kanji!!!
What's wrong?!
Why am i so weak in chinese?
When everytime I start to write chinese and I felt like giving up... >.<

My writing can be compared to those taking kindergarten kids...
I'm such a big shame...
